Host Julie Tomaro spoke with Chuck, station co-founder of wART-FM Community Radio in Marshall NC and Joel, volunteer DJ, about their incredible experience during and after Hurricane Helene, the devastation their radio station experienced and how the entire community has come together to rebuild.
The station also put together a playlist of local/regional artists from Western North Carolina.
In addition, Julie discussed the Halloween Dance Party Relief Benefit with Emily Grantham, Membership & Outreach Coordinator at WDRT.
